Hi there!
My name is Charlie
I am an 18-year-old tutor who's passionate about helping kids learn English and Chinese in a way that's fun, engaging, and effective.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, but I've been living in Taiwan for the past 12 years. This unique experience has given me a deep understanding of both cultures and languages, and the importance of recycling, and I love sharing that knowledge with others.
My teaching style is like having a big brother guide you through learning - it's all about making learning an adventure! I believe that kids learn best when they're having fun, so I incorporate a variety of creative activities into my lessons, including:
Friendly Conversation
I'm here to help you speak English with confidence! We'll use fun conversation topics to help you sound like a native speaker.
Minecraft Education
We build worlds, solve puzzles, and learn coding concepts while having a blast in the Minecraft universe.

Roblox/Minecraft
We play games, complete challenges, and build our language skills through interactive gameplay.
Cardboard/Origami
We build amazing structures, create characters, and learn new vocabulary through hands-on projects. Folding paper into beautiful shapes is a fantastic way to practice fine motor skills and learn about different cultures.
Piano/Guitar/Ukulele
Music is a powerful tool for learning, and I often incorporate it into my lessons to help kids learn new words, phrases, and even grammar concepts.
